The 2015 Barolo Ornato takes the intensity level (within the Palladino portfolio) up a full notch. The wine is very expressive and open from the start with dark fruit, ripe blackberry, spice, tar and leather. This wine plays its strongest cards in terms of texture, richness and intensity. Nicely done. Only 2,000 bottles were released. Drink date: 2021-2035.
