The wines of this 10ha estate at San Pietro in Cariano are characterised by their understated elegance and finesse. This regular Classico bottling is one of my go-to light reds and is fermented and stored in stainless steel only, to emphasise its freshness and fruit. A pale ruby colour, it shows floral and red berry fruit aromas with hints of fragrant liquorice and pepper. Lithe, fresh and clean with juicy and peppery fruit flavours, it's so light on its feet. Drinking window: 2023-2025.
