Henschke's top reds have distinctive savory dried herb and tomato characters to them, and Cyril, the top Cab in the line up, highlights them, arguably, the best. This (excellent) vintage brings out pencil shavings and ground pepper aromas that underscores the blood plum and cherry fruit notes. There's sexy, silky completeness and drinkability to the 2021; a beautiful succulent freshness. It's threaded with ultra fine, cocoa powder tannins, the red fruit and earthy herbal flavors lucid to the finish. A standout wine in a standout vintage. Cellar Selection.
