The 2023 Clos Marsalette, a blend of 43% Merlot, 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc matured for 25% in new oak, exhales a delicate, fruity bouquet of dark berries, cherries, violets and spices. Moderately weighted and elegant, it's fleshy and dynamic with good depth of fruit, supple tannins and a long, elegant finish. This is a real success in Von Neipperg's range. Drink date: 2025-2035.
