From the Angove Family's Angels Rise Vineyard in Clarendon, along with an Adelaide Hills parcel. This is more in the gris rather than grigio camp, if that nomenclature distinction is still relevant. In fact, this likely more resembles an Italian take on the grape, but in an Alto Adige register. Crystalline purity of pear flavours, Bosc and nashi, some stone fruit, a little allspice, subtly supple textural fleshiness, and an effective but not intrusive line of acidity make for an expression of fruitful breadth and freshness.
