It is abundant in spice, with hints of licorice, clove and vanilla. Lush and giving on the palate the wine is driven by its fruit character while savory spices and earth notes stand in the wings. The wine finishes with rounded tannins that allow the wine to be opened today [or held into the late 2030s].
