Vin Santo wine has truly ancient roots in Tuscany. This one is made from Tuscan Trebbiano and Chianti Malvasia grapes and was aged in small barrels. There's a complex interweaving of toffee, caramel and dried fruit notes here. The ideal digestif, it's absolutely heavenly when served with biscotti cookies. Dunk them and savour.
