Toronto native David Butterfield has been making wine in Beaune under his own label, Butterfield, since the early 2000s. This one comes from clay and limestone soils in the south of Burgundy. Silky and elegant, it evokes wild cherry, blackcurrant, plum and fresh mushroom.
