Product Details

Siegerrebe, whose name means champion vine, is a pink-skinned white-wine grape created in Rheinhessen in 1929 from a crossing of Gewürztraminer and Madeleine Angevine. The variety is best known for sweet wines that feature notions of tropical fruit, roses and honey. Pair this one with honey-glazed ham.[Berliner Wein Trophy did not include a tasting note.]
