Maratheftiko is an indigenous Cyprian grape varietal grown in small quantities on the island. The bouquet shows aromas of violets, c haracteristics typical of the varietal, with black cherries and sweet spices. The palate is rich and round with red fruit and soft tannin, with underlying spice and a lengthy finish.
