Plenio as in full which is a succinct and apropos way to describe this most wholesome of whites from the famous DOCG of Castelli De Jesi Verdicchio. The varietal wine grown in Cupramontana at 400m sees time in three types of vessels, they being Slavonian oak, steel and concrete. Adds up to one bloody delicious example, clean and just viscous enough to think in Riserva terms but there is some acid drive and tension to keep the palate on high alert. Prime effect from quality effort and workmanship that speaks to Ronchi's attention to detail but also great respect for grape, tradition, innovation and place. Drink date: 2024-2028.
