Sangiovese 70%, Merlot 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%, Syrah 5%. Of fabulous power and might, its strength lies in its density. A spectacle to observe, first of all, the visual signs: dense, firm arches on the vertical walls of the glass, a purplish burgundy, almost entirely opaque, its block of color to the eye. Then comes the richness of its aroma, layers and layers of fruit, and the power of the emission, captured with even a moderate inhale. A majesty that fills the palate, thickening the contact into a great pulp, lending audibility of aroma to levels of remote persistence. Powerful, very dense tannins, rounded by smooth glycerine notes, balsamic, vanilla nuances of truly crystalline oak. At the base is a granite-like blackberry fruit, still turgid, very clearly transformed oenologically.
