This wine comes from Agulhas, which is one of South Africa's coolest, most southerly, and most exciting wine regions. The vines here are constantly swept by cool Atlantic and Indian ocean breezes from both the southwest and southeast. The region is ideal for creating complex, minerally driven, sharply defined, concentrated, herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc. This one will drink beautifully through at least 2027.
