An attractive wine with forward pomegranate and mulberry fruit aromas, notes of earth and smoke, and an undercurrent of wild herbs. The tannins are firm, and there is enough acidity to keep the wine lively on the palate. The grapes are from 0.4 ares on the south side of town as the hill that is home to Meursault turns north into the valley that leads to St-Romain. Drinking window: 2025-2045.
