This richly flavoured and richly textured muscadet is somewhat out of the muscadet mainstream, and it's a real delight. Aged 48 months on fine lees, it has a fairly weighty and slightly viscous texture, with a flavour profile that's quite pungent and lies in the white and yellow soft fruit zones. The clean acidity clicks in to balance everything, and the result is a delicious wine that's versatile at the table. It's drinking beautifully now and will hold to about 2030.
