Shows the power of 2009 without being overdone. The merlot stays plush, but the fruit gets so dark, so intense, and with richly textured tannin that just adds to the rich mouthfeel. This is great Right bank, almost ready to drink, and where the hammer is coated with a velvety glove. Tasted March 2015.
