Product Details
A dark nose with blackcurrant, bramble, dark chocolate and liquorice notes. Succulent and gently juicy on the palate, this has seamless, refined, silky tannins that fill the mouth and give just the right support to the fruit, while the minerality, liquorice, graphite and slate edging give more structure. It has tension, the flavours more linear than expansive, with a clarity and persistence from start to finish. A good effort and will reward with age. You really do feel the terroir at the end with a salinity and crushed stone grip. Creditable winemaking this vintage. Tasted twice. Julien Viaud consultant. Drinking Window: 2025-2040.
