This is the second year that Cape Point's top white has included a portion of Sauvignon Gris,which adds an extra nuance to the base of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon. Barrel fermented in 30% new French and Austrian oak, it's one of South Africa's greatest whites, with layers of grapefruit, greengage, elderflower and sweet kitchen spices, chiselled acidity and perfectly judged wood integration. Bravo! Drink date: 2025-2032.
