I'll admit, sparkling Shiraz can be a hard sell, but when it's done right - and here it's done right - it has the capacity to surprise and delight. With ripe Shiraz berry character in the mouth, this NV The Potts Family Sparkling Shiraz is plump and fine, with a swirl of graphite tannins that ground the heady fruit. Coal dust and crushed rocks are in the mix, so too peppercorns and exotic spices. Very good.
