Apostolos Thymiopoulos has had an astonishing role in establishing modern Greece's international reputation, particularly through his revolutionary work with Xinomavro in Naoussa. This one comes from sites ranging from 200 to 500 metres above sea level and offers excellent complexity, depth and refinement. Look for generous dark cherry, raspberry, savoury undertones, and a spine of food-friendly acidity. A wine that will drink through 2032.
