This wine is sourced from 30-year-old vines. Xinomavro shares many similarities to the Italian Nebbiolo grape, with a medium ruby colour, fierce tannins and complex, rustic flavours and aromas. This Greek specialty offers notes of red cherry, leather, black licorice, and baking spice. Pair with roast lamb and kalamata olives or cellar for another 5+ years.[The TEXSOM Awards did not include a tasting note.]
